I haven’t been to any locations since October; my eBike was in the shop for repair, or it’s been too cold or rainy to make a dash across campus. And to answer the question you are probably thinking: YES I’m being a wimp here. I’m run a campus team, I’m a supervisor and I’m in all kinds of meetings, so I rely on the fast, clean transportation of a lovely Aventon eBike to shuttle me around campus to get places on time.
I decided to return to Davis because I was so enamored with the space in the big room. It’s a lovely place; a vaulted ceiling and is reasonably quiet, today there were a bunch of students studying but wasn’t quite bustling with activity. Electricity was a bit of a problem, I had to find a dodgy receptacle to plug in to, but it worked. At one point I took a break to get a drink of water and I felt pretty safe leaving my stuff on the table, since there are so many students around.
Lovely location but dodgy power supply. It worked, though!
